Shanghai King Industry Co., Ltd is an established centralize air conditioner manufacturer, moved entirely from its parent company Zhejiang King Refrigeration Industry Co., Ltd and located at the Shanghai Songjiang. The new factory has maintained majority of the asset properties and personnel staffs from Zhejiang King Refrigeration Industry Co., Ltd.
     Kingair Machinery Co., Ltd was established by Mr.H.K Chen in 1963 in Taiwan, whereas Zhejiang King Refrigeration Industry Co., Ltd located in Zhejiang Shangyu was founded in 1993 and started production in 1995. In 30th December 2003, Zhejiang King Refrigeration Industry Co., Ltd officially public listed in Shanghai A Share Stock market with 40 millions lots shares, also the first domestic A Share Taiwanese Enterprise (code no. 600340). The success of Kingair listed in the stock market, has emphasized manifested its product quality, branding, customer recognition, enterprise capital operation strengths and the altitude.
      Review Kingair more than 40 years history, the entitlement of number of “first “honors have so encouraging till now. In 1970, Kingair has completed the development of the Taiwan first automobile air conditioner, the first passenger vehicle air conditioner and the first train passenger air conditioner. In year 1973, Kingair had manufactured the first Taiwan 100 RT air cooled chiller Wanbang Electronics. In 1980, product had exported to US, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia etc. Three years later, Kingair new factory set up and became Taiwan biggest air conditioning manufacturer with the latest advanced technology and equipment. In the same year, Kingair had completed developed the domestic first water cooled screw chiller. In 1985, we also completed the development of air conditioning equipment for the nuclear power auxiliary station. Besides of this, Kingair has started undertaking the construction of Taiwan first 5A fully automation air conditioning mechanical and electrical project for the IBM Tower, and exported to Middle East, Arab, Qatar and The United Arab Emirates. In 1996, we undertook construction of first biggest nation thermal storage system of the Hangzhou world trade center (4400T/H). Kingair Refrigeration is the first Asian air conditioning manufacturer entitled with HVAC equipment ISO9001 and ISO14001 certification, furthermore, it is also world class top three train air conditioner manufacturer and the first ranking domestic train air condition manufacturer in China market. Kingair is also the first Asian manufacturer can produce 2,400,000 kilocalories (single compressor) chiller; In 2003 became first domestic Taiwanese Enterprise company public listed in Shanghai A Share Stock market. Then, Kingair also fabricated the first nuclear power plant static air conditioner chiller units.
     Along with the enterprise scale and sales expansion, the branding of ‘King’ has generated and established more than 40 sales branches in Beijing, Shenyang, Xi'an, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Dongguan. Also, in 2006 our new factories had been setup in Shanghai, Dongguan, and Chengdu. In Oct 2007, our headquarter officially moved into our new factory in Shanghai Songjiang zone.
      Shanghai King is located in the China Shanghai Songjiang  industrial district, the occupying land area about 200 acres with more than 500 existing staffs, 50% of which are the skilled professional technical personnel with the high quality management team. The new Songjiang factory has the latest modern design administration building and built according to the international standard. Besides the present American Japan equipments, Kingair has purchased the latest advanced manufacturer facilities and testing inspection equipments, in order to become the latest new factory in the HVAC manufacturers.
     The laboratory test center of Zhejiang King was constructed in 1999 with the investment of RMB30 millions, obtained the laboratory certificate approval from China National Center of Supervision and Inspection and Testing for Air Conditioning Equipment . The test laboratory is one of the most complete and advanced domestic central air conditioning integrity laboratories in China. And obtained approval from CNAS Procedural Rules for the Board/Executive Committee in 2007, becomes the nation class laboratory test center. Presently, the new laboratories center is under construction in the new factory.
      With superior test center and the specialized technical team, Kingair already developed independently and to have 15 items of national patented technology. On March 29, 2005, China Standard Certification Center (CSC) rewarded the nation energy saving certification to the only five centralized air conditioning manufacturers in Beijing. Kingair had rewarded with 13 models unit nation certification once, and position the top three ranking with Trane and York.
